  • Yes, The.Co.Lab is registered with the “International Coaches Register” which demonstrates my commitment to professionalism and ethical standards in my practice. It provides potential clients with a sense of security, knowing that I have met certain requirements and adhere to a code of ethics.

  • Accreditation is an important aspect of professional development and can demonstrate to you that I have completed rigorous training and adhere to ethical standards.

    With a degree in sociology, a diploma in community service and certification in multiple coaching disciplines I have all the necessary education to meet your needs. In addition to academia, I have years of experience working for Not-for-profits organizations in Crisis Accommodation & Substance Abuse centres where I have undergone extensive training and have demonstrated a high level of competence with all my abilities.

    What’s more, I am furthering my education as a facilitator at Mauni. Being accredited gives my clients peace of mind knowing that they are working with a coach who is committed to providing high-quality services and following ethical guidelines.

  • To avoid being charged in full, changes or cancellations must be made with 24 hours' notice except in emergency situations. Even if you are late to start, sessions will still end at the agreed time.

    If the coach is late, the session will be extended by that amount of time or credit will be provided if that is not possible. On the rare occasion I miss a session with less than 24 hours' notice, the coach will offer an alternative session at no cost.

    Please consider this as an investment in your future. We kindly request that you carefully deliberate before agreeing to embark on our collaborative journey, as all sales and purchases are final. In the event of challenging circumstances, we will actively explore alternative solutions to ensure the continuity of our sessions. Rest assured, there are always ways to overcome obstacles in life.

  • The.Co.Lab is dedicated to maintaining confidentiality and honouring your privacy in both your personal and professional life. In addition, I am obligated to engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to enhance my skills and the quality of service. As a result, I may discuss aspects of cases with a supervising professional for training and improvement purposes, but this individual is also bound by professional confidentiality.

    Records of coaching sessions are not maintained, except for when necessary for the coach to enhance the client's service. In such cases, any documentation will be securely stored in a password-protected environment in compliance with existing laws and regulations.

  • At The.Co.Lab feel safe in knowing that I adhere to standard ethical practices such as confidentiality, transparency, boundaries, informed consent, cultural competence, professionalism, compliance with laws, and continuing education. These standards ensure that you receive safe, effective, and professional coaching services.

  • During a paid coaching session, coaches will devote their time, skills, and best efforts to assist you, as per the mutually agreed-upon schedule and duration. Any changes to the timing and length of the session must be agreed upon by both parties.

    Between sessions, communication may occur via other means such as email or text, but the sole purpose of such communication is to arrange appointment details. Coaches will not engage in personal conversations via email or text due to the potential for miscommunication.

    If any issues arise, clients can book a coaching session.

  • Initially we will begin with a free 30 minute “chemistry set” via Zoom where we explore the possibility of working together.

    If you decide I'm right for you, we will commit to a minimum 3-session package.

    Sessions can be held in-person if you are based in Sydney city area or held online (Zoom /Whats App) or by phone.

    Coaching is normally once a week & sessions are usually 60 minutes.

    If you need more than one session a week, this can be arranged schedule permitting.

    Remember your journey is one of a kind and will be reflected in our distinct coaching relationship.

  • Each receipt includes a hyperlink to the scheduling page, which allows you to book or reschedule appointments with ease. Please note that a confirmed booking cannot be made without presenting a valid receipt. If, for any reason, you misplace your receipt, kindly provide us with your email address, and we will send you a copy at the earliest.

  • A recovery coach helps individuals in recovery to achieve their personal and professional goals, by identifying strengths and challenges, setting goals, and providing support. A sponsor is a volunteer in recovery who acts as a mentor, providing emotional and practical support, and sharing their own experiences of recovery to inspire the individual in recovery.

    It’s always good practice to have multiple resources in your support network.

  • Coaching and therapy have distinct approaches and objectives. Coaching is goal-oriented, aiming to help people identify strengths and develop strategies to achieve specific personal or professional objectives. Conversely, therapy focuses on resolving past emotional wounds, addressing mental health issues, and creating a path towards healing. While both coaching and therapy can be beneficial, it's essential to understand their differences and choose the approach that best suits your needs.

Coaches identify strengths, weaknesses, and goals to develop strategies that improve productivity, leadership, decision-making, and overall performance. They address issues such as team building, communication and organizational development, with the aim of improving business outcomes.
